FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME

Cumberland Township, Adams County, PA., is accepting applications and hiring for the positions of full-time and part-time police officer. These are non-civil service positions. Successful candidates must be a least 21 years of age prior to commencement of employment, must have completed Act 120 Training (certificate must be presented at time of application), and must pass a background investigation, including criminal history, employment history, driving history, credit history, psychological testing, medical examination and drug test. Out of state applicants must present their equivalent Police Certification and be able to acquire Act 120 Certification within a specified time defined in a conditional offer. High School diploma or equivalency certificate is required, along with valid motor vehicle license. PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED RESUMES AND APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND MUST BE RESUBMITTED.
