SENIOR CARE PROGRAM

M-F, DAYTIME HOURS

Description of Position

Franklin Hospital is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Therapist in the Senior Care program.  Position provides quality psychotherapy and social services for identified clients, with special emphasis on geriatrics.  Daytime hours, M-F, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Position requires Master’s degree in Counseling or Behavioral Science from an accredited Graduate School, along with current licensure as LCSW or LCPC. Must meet any applicable state licensure standards.  Position also requires current BLS certification or willingness to obtain, knowledge of group and family therapy, psychotropic medications, treatment plan development, and area services, along with strong teamwork, organizational, computer, and oral and written communication skills.   2 years clinical experience with older persons and hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
