The Sr. Manager of Local Engagement will be responsible for driving strategic marketing campaigns that engage and retain subscribers in local markets. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, have a thorough understanding of a subscription business model, know how to leverage data for decision making, and will be able to continuously learn from results. They must have experience running marketing campaigns and should be willing to be hands-on on a day-to-day basis evaluating and enhancing campaigns while ensuring both short- and long-term goals are met.
Base Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000
Responsibilities:
- Partner with growth directors and local market directors to identify needs at the local market level
- Implement campaigns to drive engagement and retention in the local markets
- Present performance data and insights to full Consumer Revenue team
- Develop plans in partnership with local market directors to execute campaigns
- Focus on best tactics to target subscribers at a local market level to solve for various challenges as indicated by local market directors
- Partner with members of the engagement team to drive campaigns in their respective specialty areas
- Responsible for all campaign elements and channels including creative direction, design and copy
- Work with Analytics team to ensure all campaign level reporting is accurate and meaningful
- Partner with key stakeholders to implement testing agenda
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience
- Minimum three (3) years of B2C marketing, CRM, and/or direct marketing experience
- Experience using data and analytics to manage successful customer retention and engagement
- Deep understanding of digital audiences, customer segmentation and how to market to those customers.
- Solid understanding and experience with third party vendors and partners.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Google Analytics and/or Tableau is an asset.
- Knowledge of SalesForce Marketing Cloud and Meta Business Suite is an asset.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $68,400 and $161,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
