Glastron Inc., located in Vineland, NJ, is a manufacturer specializing in small diameter custom glassware. Glastron currently has multiple openings for entry and mid-level openings.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembling parts to form complete units or subassemblies at work bench.
- Using hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment.
- Daily collaboration with team members on work.
- Reassembling or reworking units as required.
- Performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes, under direct supervision.
- Setting up and operating various grinding machines to deburr, buff, or polish materials.
- Utilizing gauges and fixtures to check that specifications are met.
- Setting up, operating or tending to machines used to crush, grind, or polish glass material.
The ideal candidate would possess a High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years of related experience. This individual would also have the ability to perform advanced level job responsibilities, including problem solving using basic math and scientific rules, along with the ability to read and interpret dimensioned drawings.
