Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
Signature Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Cardiology Practice located on the Brockton/Easton line. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant works under general direction, working independently within established protocols and policies exercising initiative and judgment in direct patient care. Documents and reviews patient medical history, performs patient examination, and assesses current status/condition. Determines proper diagnosis, plans treatment and education programs including prescribing medication within licensed parameters. Seeks consultation and initiates referrals as necessary.
Requirements:
Must be licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
Master's level (MSN), adult health nurse practitioner license and ANNC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) certification required or Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant program.
Must be prescriptive eligible with 2 years' experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
CCU experience as an RN or NP preferable.
Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese Creole preferred.
