START DATE: June 3, 2024 or sooner
SALARY: $52,000 plus additional salary credit for graduate credits, Master’s Degree and prior teaching experience. Excellent benefits are available.

DUTIES: Responsible for providing engaging and inquiry- and project-based High School Science instruction anchored by the NYS Science Standards to students at the TST P-TECH Academy located on the TC3 campus. Teacher will have freedom to prioritize content, design curricula and create an instructional space that meets the learning needs of our students. Develops supportive relationships with students, advances positive school culture and promotes attainment of academic goals. Must be a flexible, out of the box thinker who is able to work as a member of a small, supportive team of educators dedicated to alternative education and restorative practices. Experience teaching Biology and either Earth Science or Chemistry preferred by not required. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess New York State Teacher Certification in Biology 7-12 AND either Earth Science 7-12 OR Chemistry 7-12. Must be a team player, have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Strong instructional and managerial computer skills are desired.
