Post Doctoral Associate

The Pipas laboratory seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to contribute to studies of the molecular biology of human polyomavirus infections. Specific projects are focused on identifying cellular factors that restrict viral infection and understanding the molecular mechanisms by which they act, and on viral countermeasures that overcome these restrictions. The successful candidate will have experience in molecular methodologies that assess protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions, analyze gene expression data, or influence protein stability. These studies will be under the direction of Dr. James Pipas and will include collaboration with other members of the research group.

Qualified applicants will have at minimum a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or related fields.
