Winona Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our progressive Hospitalist team located in a Midwest college community along the banks of the Mississippi River.

  • Employed position on 24/7 Hospitalist team
  • 12 hour shifts with day/night rotation
  • Admit, examine, assess, plan, and implement plan of care of assigned patients
  • Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, order laboratory tests, enter all orders for patient treatment, develop and implement treatment plans, perform diagnostic and treatment procedures, record findings, and provide patient education and counseling
  • Work collaboratively with the Physician Hospitalists
  • Modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, including EMR, Dragon, Dynamic Documentation

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or equivalent
  • Maintenance of an active Minnesota Physician Assistant license
  • Current certification by the NCCPA
  • Current certification in ACLS
